MICHAEL A. SANTIVASCI ELECTED CORPORATE SECRETARY OF CSS INDUSTRIES, INC.

CSS Industries, Inc. (CSS: NYSE) is pleased to announce that at the Organizational Meeting of the Company’s Board of Directors held today Michael A. Santivasci was elected as Corporate Secretary.

Mr. Santivasci has been a member of the CSS Industries Legal Department for approximately seven and one/half years and serves as Assistant General Counsel. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and Delaware Bars and is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries and the American Corporate Counsel Association. Mr. Santivasci received his Juris Doctor degree from The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law and his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University.
